Unlocking High-Growth Opportunities in Nigeria – Africa’s Largest Market
On 22 July 2026, the Malaysia Africa Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MACCI), in collaboration with MATRADE and the High Commission of Malaysia in Abuja, participated in a webinar titled “Unlocking High Growth Opportunities in Nigeria – Africa’s Largest Market.”
The webinar brought together Malaysian and Nigerian business leaders, industry experts, and stakeholders to explore market opportunities, business entry strategies, regulatory considerations, and the growing potential of the Nigerian market.
The session featured valuable insights from experienced professionals across the business, trade, legal, and investment sectors, providing participants with practical perspectives on navigating the Nigerian business environment and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
MACCI was represented by Mr. Amarjeet S. Ghai, President of MACCI, who delivered remarks highlighting the importance of strengthening Malaysia–Nigeria commercial ties and encouraging greater collaboration between businesses in both markets.
The webinar served as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and promoting stronger Malaysia–Nigeria trade and investment relations, further supporting MACCI’s commitment to building meaningful business connections between Malaysia and Africa.
Namibia–Malaysia Business Roundtable Forum
The Malaysia Africa Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MACCI) participated in the Namibia–Malaysia Business Roundtable Forum, held on 20 April 2026 at MATRADE Dubai Hall, Kuala Lumpur.
The forum brought together government representatives, business leaders, and industry stakeholders to explore bilateral trade and investment opportunities between Namibia and Malaysia. Discussions focused on Namibia’s business and regulatory environment, potential areas for collaboration, and opportunities for Malaysian and Namibian companies to establish meaningful partnerships.
The event also provided an excellent platform for Business-to-Business (B2B) networking, enabling participants to connect directly with key stakeholders and explore new avenues for trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
MACCI remains committed to strengthening Malaysia–Africa business relations and creating platforms that connect businesses with emerging opportunities across the African continent.
SAIHAS 2026 – South African International Halal Showcase
The South African International Halal Showcase (SAIHAS) 2026, held from 16–18 April 2026 in Johannesburg, South Africa, brought together businesses, investors, and industry stakeholders to explore opportunities within Africa’s rapidly growing Halal economy.
As a Malaysian–South African initiative, SAIHAS provided a platform to promote Halal trade, investment, innovation, and international business partnerships, while positioning South Africa as an important gateway to Africa’s expanding Halal market.
MACCI was proud to support this important initiative, further strengthening Malaysia–Africa commercial ties and creating new opportunities for collaboration within the Halal industry.
